A clear account of what happens to your details.

Pataka Studio is responsible for the information submitted through the Pataka Anime watchlist, Pataka Anime viewer accounts and support payments at patakastudio.com/anime. This notice does not cover creator applications, project inquiries, or third-party websites.

Joining is optional. If you do not provide a name and email address, we cannot add you to the watchlist or send launch-access updates.

We collect the name and email address you enter, as well as an optional phone number if you choose to provide it. We also record the signup time, consent-notice version, watchlist status, source page, and limited campaign or referring-site information when it is present in the page URL or browser referral.

We keep operational details about confirmation delivery, such as attempt times, provider message identifiers, and general error codes. We do not store your Turnstile token or a dedicated IP-address field in the watchlist database.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes security signals such as IP address, user-agent, TLS fingerprint, sitekey, and site origin to distinguish people from bots. It does not receive the name or email fields from our form. Read the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.

To watch a Pataka Anime series you create a viewer account, either with Google or with a code we email to you. We collect your email address. If you use Google, we also receive the name and profile picture on your Google account. We record when you sign in, which versions of the Terms of Service and this notice you accepted and when, and whether you asked for episode news.

When you play an episode, our servers check your account and issue a short-lived link to the video. A sign-in lasts 72 hours, after which we ask you to sign in again. We count plays and sign-ins in aggregate with Google Analytics; those events do not carry your name or email address. We also keep a viewing record on your account: which episodes you played, when, in which audio language, and how far through you watched.

We use account information to let you watch, to keep the service secure, to count viewers and understand what is watched, and, only if you opt in, to email you about new episodes. Accounts are stored with Supabase, sign-in emails are delivered by Resend, Google provides Google sign-in, and video is stored with Akamai and delivered through Cloudflare.

We keep account information while your account exists. To close your account and delete it, email studio@patakastudio.com from the address on the account. To stop episode news, reply to any of those emails with “unsubscribe”.

If you make a payment to support Pataka Anime, Razorpay processes it. Razorpay collects your payment details and contact details such as your phone number or email address. We never receive your card or bank details.

We can see your contact details and the payment in our Razorpay account. We use them only for receipts, refunds and our accounts, and keep payment records for as long as the law requires. Making a payment does not add you to the watchlist or to any mailing list. Our Shipping, Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how payments and refunds work.

We use watchlist information to:

• record and manage your place on the watchlist;
• send a signup confirmation and Pataka Anime launch-access updates;
• prevent duplicate or automated submissions;
• measure signup sources in aggregate and operate the service; and
• respond to privacy, support, or legal requests.

We do not sell or rent watchlist information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share information only as needed with vendors that help run the watchlist: Supabase for database and server functions, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for bot protection, and Netlify for site hosting.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business reorganization where appropriate safeguards apply.

We keep watchlist information while the watchlist and launch-access program are active, then delete or anonymize information we no longer need. We may keep a minimal suppression record after an opt-out so we do not contact that address again, and retain records longer where reasonably needed for security, disputes, or legal obligations.

You can withdraw from the watchlist at any time by replying to a Pataka Anime email with “unsubscribe” or emailing studio@patakastudio.com. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your watchlist information.

Please tell us the email address used to join. We may take reasonable steps to verify the request and may limit a request where applicable law permits or requires it.

We use access controls, encrypted connections, restricted database permissions, bot verification, and limited internal reporting to protect watchlist information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use contractual and technical safeguards intended to protect information across those transfers.

The watchlist is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

We may update this notice if the watchlist, viewer accounts or our practices change. We will post the revised date here and seek fresh consent where a change materially expands how we use previously collected information.
